About Chude Pam Allen:
I write political memoir about my personal experiences as a white activist in the South and as an organizer of women's liberation groups in NYC and San Francisco. "The Ride Home" was an attempt to capture a sense of what it was like before we started the women's liberation movement.
I am a member of the Bay Area Veterans of the Civil Rights Movement http://www.crmvet.org. My writings can be found through the Veterans Roll Call.  I also recommend the Discussions section, especially "Women and Men in the Freedom Movement."
I am the author of Free Space, A Perspective on the Small Group in Women's Liberation_, Times Change Press, 1970.  It's still available from the press at 8453 Blackney Road, Sebastopol, CA  95472, 707-824-9456. $4.25 ($1.50 postage for 1-4 copies). Email contact, click here.
I also collaborated with my first husband, Robert Allen, onReluctant Reformers: Racism and Social Reform Movements in the United States, Howard University Press, 1974, writing the chapter on the woman suffrage movement.
